Personal touch:
I like to add a little bit of cumin seeds to the kadai when I’m frying the onions and green chilis, as it adds an extra layer of flavor to the dish.
I also like to use freshly grated coconut instead of dry coconut as it gives the dish a more authentic taste. You can also experiment with different spices and herbs to make the dish your own.
In case you’re not a big fan of spicy food, don’t worry! The beauty of this recipe is that you can tweak the level of heat to your liking by adding or reducing the number of green chilies.
Personally, I like mine with a bit of a kick, so I go heavy on the chilies and even skip the chili powder at times. But hey, it’s your taste buds we’re talking about here, so feel free to adjust accordingly.
Either way, this cabbage fry recipe is a winner – it’s an easy and delicious way to add some healthy veggies to your diet!
I even love to use my homemade masala – it’s my secret ingredient for making everything taste amazing!
