  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tbsp raisins
  • 1 tbsp almonds
  • 1 tbsp cashew
  • 200 grams roasted vermicelli
  • 5 tbsp jaggery
  • 2 cups full cream milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp green cardamom powder
  • 1 cup fresh grated coconut
  • 1/2 cup soaked sago

Instructions:

  1. Start by heating the ghee in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the raisins, almonds, and cashews and fry until golden brown. Remove them from the pan and keep them aside.
  3. In the same pan, add roasted vermicelli and jaggery. Mix well and cook for a minute.
  4. Add 1 cup of milk and stir well to avoid the milk from breaking. Keep stirring until the mixture becomes smooth.
  5. Now, add 1 cup of water and stir well. Close the lid and let it cook for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Add green cardamom powder and mix well. Now, add fresh grated coconut and soaked sago. Mix well and close the lid. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until everything is cooked well.
  7. Add the second cup of milk and mix well. Add the fried dry fruits and mix well.
  8. Dish out and garnish with the remaining dry fruits. Serve hot or cold, according to your preference.
