Creamy and Delicious Bottle Gourd Curry Recipe You can make in 15 Minutes!

Today I'm going to share with you my bottle gourd curry recipe that will make your taste buds dance with joy. Yes, you heard that right, bottle gourd! I know it sounds boring, but trust me, this veggie can be transformed into something magical.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 3 Green chilis chopped
  • 250 Grams Bottle gourd chopped
  • 1/4 Tsp Turmeric
  • 1 Tbsp Chili powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 Tsp Ghee
  • Coriander for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Wash the Bottle Gourd thoroughly and chop it into small cubes. Set it aside. Chop the onions and green chilies as well.
  • In a Kadai or a deep frying pan, heat the oil over medium heat.
  • Once the oil is hot, add the chopped onions and green chilies. Fry them until they turn golden brown.
  • Now, add the chopped Bottle Gourd to the pan and mix it well with the fried onions and chilies. Add turmeric, chili powder, and salt. Mix everything together until the Bottle Gourd is coated with the spices.
  • Close the lid of the pan and let the Bottle Gourd cook on medium heat. Stir occasionally. Keep cooking until the Bottle Gourd is soft and tender.
  • Once the Bottle Gourd is cooked, add the full cream milk to the pan. Mix well and close the lid. Cook until the milk is fully incorporated.
  • Finally, add a teaspoon of ghee to the pan and mix it well with the curry. This will enhance the flavor and aroma of the dish. Garnish with coriander leaves and give everything a final mix.
  • Your Bottle Gourd Curry is now ready to be served! It goes well with hot rice and dal or rotis. Enjoy your delicious and nutritious meal!
