Mango Magic: Try this Delicious Bottle Gourd and Raw Mango Dal Recipe!

Cooking the Dal:
Wash the Toor dal in water and keep it aside.
Take a pressure cooker and add the washed toor dal, chopped bottle gourd, chopped tomatoes, slit green chilies, grated raw mango, water, turmeric powder, chili powder, and ghee.
Close the pressure cooker and let it cook for 3 whistles on high flame and 2 on low flame.
Once the dal is cooked, let it cool down a bit and then open the cooker.
Add salt to taste and mash the dal with a ladle.
If the dal is too thick, you can add 1 glass of water and bring it to a boil.
Seasoning the Dal:
Take a kadai and add 2 tbsp of oil.
Once the oil is hot, add 3 dry red chilies, 1/2 tsp mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp urad dal, 1 tsp cumin seeds, curry leaves, and crushed garlic pods. Fry them well.
Now add the seasoning to the boiled dal and mix well.
Add coriander for garnish and mix well.
Finally, add 1 tsp of ghee and bring it to a boil.
Your delicious bottle gourd and raw mango dal is ready to be served hot with rice.
