The Best Homemade Garlic Butter Mayonnaise Recipe You'll Ever Taste in Just 5 Minutes
Mayonnaise is one of those condiments that can make any dish taste better. But if you're like me, you might be wary of store-bought mayonnaise because of the added preservatives and chemicals. That's why I love making my own garlic mayonnaise at home, and even more so, with butter instead of oil. It's super easy to make, and it tastes so much better than anything you can buy at the store. In this recipe, I'm going to show you how to make homemade garlic mayonnaise with butter that you can enjoy with your favorite dishes.
For this recipe, you will need a large mason jar, a hand blender/immersion blender, and the following ingredients:
- 500 Grams Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 5 Garlic pods, crushed
- 1 Tbsp Apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Pepper
Take a large mason jar and add eggs, butter, crushed garlic, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper.
Now take an immersion blender and place the head of the immersion blender at the bottom of the jar and turn it on high speed. Do not pulse or move the head.
As the mayonnaise starts to form, slowly tilt and lift the head of the immersion blender until all the oil is emulsified.
Refrigerate the garlic mayonnaise in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
